Mr. Maxwell is a professional geoscientist with over 20 years of industry experience, with a direct strength in the exploration and development of orogenic gold discoveries.  He has made considerable contributions to discovery teams in Ontario and Nunavut for a total of 5 major gold discoveries. Mr. Maxwell is the current Vice President Exploration leading district scale geoscience for First Mining Gold Corp. and has held previous roles as the former Director of Exploration at Sabina Gold & Silver Corp. where he helped establish a >6 Million Oz gold resource base from discovery to the feasibility study level. Prior to this, Mr Maxwell established an early career in the Birch-Uchi and Red Lake Greenstone belts where his team earned a Northwestern Ontario Prospectors Association Discovery of the Year Award for the Rahill- Bonanza discovery. He is a graduate of the University of Manitoba, a long standing member of the PDAC Health & Safety Committee and was highlighted as a recent speaker for the 2019 Newgen Gold Conference held in Perth, Australia.
