Leeuwin Metals: An Emerging Battery Metals Story in Manitoba
Leeuwin Metals is a private, battery metals focused explorer with its principal project focus in Manitoba. Leeuwin Metals cornerstone asset is the William Lake Nickel Project which it recently acquired from Galleon Gold. The William lake project is in the world class Thompson Nickel Belt. It is an advanced project with multiple ore grade Nickel and PGE intercepts from work conducted by previous operators, Falconbridge and Xstrata. Leeuwin Metals is aiming to list on the Australian Stock Exchange in 2023.
Marcus is a geologist with extensive gold and base metals exploration and management experience throughout Australia, Africa, Asia, and the Americas.
He has played key roles in the discovery and definition of more than 9 million ounces of gold globally with ASX and TSX listed junior companies. Three of these projects are currently operating and one is in development. Marcus a former Principal Geologist for First Quantum Minerals and is the former Chief Geologist of Auteco Minerals.
