Canada’s Place in the Zero Emission Vehicle Supply Chain
Every level of government in Canada has commented on the nation’s potential to become a global leader in the zero emission vehicle supply chain, owing to our extensive mineral resources, our robust human capital, our geographic proximity to the United States and our strong vehicle manufacturing capabilities. However, how do we ensure that this opportunity is realized? While on paper Canada appears to have all of the pieces of the puzzle to create a bright future oriented around the transition to zero emission vehicles, there are a number of different factors that need to be addressed to bring all of the disparate parts of the mining, processing and manufacturing sectors together as well as well as ensuring that each of those silos is optimized as well to fit into the larger puzzle.
