Elder Set Tone for CCMEC

MAMI and CCMEC extend heartfelt gratitude to Elder Frank Beaulieu for participating in the convention as the Knowledge Keeper and for offering a blessing and meaningful words of welcome on behalf of Treaty One at the opening ceremonies. His presence brought warmth, grounding, and wisdom to the event, and we are truly honoured that he shared his time with us.

A special thank for also conducting the smudging ceremony. His guidance helped create a safe and positive space for everyone, setting the tone for reflection, connection, and respect throughout the convention. Many attendees shared how deeply they were moved by the experience, and we are grateful for the teachings and spirit he brought to the event.
