Special Event – Mine Rescue Demonstration
It is November 2nd, and the current time is 13:00 hours. Mine Rescue has been called out following an underground electrical incident involving two workers who were completing maintenance in a substation near the bottom of the mine.  The team is suited and heading into the mine with confidence, while all others head for safe refuge. 

Join us as mine rescue personnel from Hudbay, Tanco, Vale and 1911 Gold provide CCMEC with a live demonstration showcasing what it takes in a real event scenario.

Special Cultural Event – Drumming Performance by Ray (Co-Co) Stevenson

Ray (Co-Co) Stevenson is a singer and composer of traditional songs and a well known MC for Pow wows and Round Dance.

Over the years he has recorded seven original albums of his own composed songs. Co-Co, as everyone knows him ,was also a member of award winning band Eagle and Hawk for 20 years. He comes from the Treaty 1 territory with both Ojibway and Cree background.
