Overview of the Grid Metals Critical Metal Portfolio with Focus on Lithium Bearing Pegmatites

Grid Metals is a Canadian-based exploration and development company actively focused on exploration and resource development at its properties in Manitoba and Ontario. Grid has a diverse portfolio of projects focused on Nickel-Copper-PGM-Cobalt and Lithium. The Makwa Mayville Project (145 km from Winnipeg MB) has a significant NI 43-101 compliant resource of nickel, copper, cobalt and platinum group metals. Adjacent to the Makwa-Mayville Project is the highly prospective Donner Lake Lithium Project. Grid also has several mineral exploration leases on greenfields nickel projects in northern Manitoba in the Fox River belt and the Thompson area, as well as Lithium and Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-PGM projects in Ontario.

The Donner Lake Project is comprised of several spodumene (lithium bearing) pegmatites. Currently the company is drilling the pegmatites to develop an initial resource and test new exploration targets generated from recent mapping and geochemical studies. The Company has engaged several consulting firms to carry out metallurgical testwork, bulk sampling, environmental baseline studies and advanced exploration permitting for the project. The Company recently announced a Memorandum of Understanding with the Tantalum Mining Corporation (Tanco) that lays out commercial terms for potential toll-milling of spodumene pegmatite ore from Donner Lake at the nearby Tanco Mine, which is the only current spodumene concentrate producer in North America.
