Grid Metals’ Nickel Sulfide Projects in Manitoba: Strategically positioned for the next nickel bull market.
Grid Metals Corp. is currently advancing its Donner Lake lithium project in southeastern Manitoba towards development. Concurrently, the Company has made significant progress in positioning its well balanced and highly undervalued nickel sulfide portfolio for the anticipated return of sustained, higher prices for nickel and copper. The Company is currently updating its resource estimate for the PEA-stage Makwa-Mayville nickel project in the Bird River greenstone belt. Grid was also very highly active during the past few years in consolidating its Bird River belt nickel holdings and adding high potential greenfields projects in the world-class Superior Boundary Zone nickel sulfide metallotects in northern Manitoba. In preparation for the next bull market, Grid has re-assessed historical data for all projects, refined its deposit models and exploration strategies, added critical new geophysical and geochemical data and analyses, and commenced a new phase of exploration and resource expansion drilling. Tactically, Grid’s well balanced nickel portfolio will compete favourably for hard to come by future investment capital as market conditions improve. This view is based on the Company’s under-appreciated nickel sulfide exploration potential, new technical insights into controls on mineralization on all of its properties, and recently refined exploration approaches to making breakthrough discoveries and extending known resources.
