Dr. Eric (Xue-Ming) Yang, P.Geo., is a Mineral Deposits Geologist at the Manitoba Geological Survey, investigating geology and metallogeny of various mineral deposits via geological mapping, lithogeochemistry, petrology and GIS analysis. Eric is an Adjunct Professor at the University of New Brunswick, and served as Councillor of Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba (2021-2023), and Chairperson of Mineral Deposit Division (2013-2014), Geological Association of Canada. Eric has extensive experience in the study of intrusion-related mineral deposits, including magmatic nickel-copper-PGE deposits, intrusion-related gold deposits, and alkaline rock-carbonatite associated rare earth elements deposits.
