Final Keynote Details Released

We’re pleased to confirm our keynote speaker for day 2: Nalaine Morin – who will close out the conference on Tuesday, November 4.
Morin is a nationally recognized leader with deep technical expertise in mining and the environmental assessment process. She currently serves as Senior Vice President, Environment and Social Affairs for Skeena Gold and Silver. Previously she was the Lands Director for the Tahltan Central Government, where she led environmental reviews for major resource projects.
Widely respected for her commitment to building strong, respectful relationships, Morin is a champion of Indigenous leadership in land-based decision-making. With over 20-years of experience in environmental management, she has guided both companies and and First Nation communities in negotiations, community consultations, environmental resource management, and regulatory processes. She was also was a member of the federal review panel for the proposed Prosperity Gold-Copper Mine Project.
Morin’s distinguished contributions have been recognized with numerous awards, including:

- Skookum Jim Award (2021)
- Indigenous Trailblazer Award (2018)
- Aura Award (2018)
