Jake is an aspiring exploration geologist hailing from Leicester, England. An interest in geology from a young age led Jake to attain a B.Sc. Exploration Geology from Cardiff University. During this bachelor’s degree, he developed a particular interest in the genesis of magmatic-related ore deposits. This interest culminated in a desire to pursue a M.Sc. in Earth Sciences at the University of Manitoba under the supervision of Dr. Anton Chakhmouradian. In partial requirement for this degree, Jake is completing a thesis project entitled “The Nature and Distribution of REE Mineralisation in the Eastern Part of the Ice River Complex, British Columbia” alongside TerraLogic Exploration Inc. on behalf of Eagle Plains Resources Ltd.
