Manitoba’s Mineral Deposit Database

Continued improvements to Manitoba’s Mineral Deposits Database (MDD) have resulted in the identification of thousands of mineral occurrences located throughout the province. These newly compiled data allow for better-informed assessments of mineral potential in different regions, including critical minerals. This talk will provide an overview of the most recent updates to the MDD, where to find these updates, and a preliminary look at some belt-scale trends revealed in the new data.
